Hi trenders!

I’m the type of person who doesn’t follow trends. I like what I like and that’s that. I actually used to hate shopping too. There was one instance where I picked up a black FILA pullover at a thrift store and was in love. It had the finger holes in the sleeves that I love so much (although he tells me they’re not in style anymore) and was uber soft. It also still had the tags on it. Score!

He took one look at it and said - FILA?!? Are you sure you want to get that? Maybe we can find a NIKE one for you. I’ve never been one for brands. I’m just now slowly coming around to them now that I’ve realized the quality that goes into them. Anywho, I gave him the Rose look and said - yep. Gettin it. Don’t care if it is FILA. I like what I like. Unbeknownst to either of us at the time, the 90’s were making a comeback and now FILA was trending...

There have been a few times this has happened to me. I was in love with rose gold years before it ever became popular. Obvi because my name is Rose! Duh. So that is how the term Reluctant Trendsetter came to be. Blame the hubs. LOL! j/k.
